The computer has always been a little sketchy, the previous owner wired up an air/fuel guage wrong and it frazzled the computer and ever since then it has little hickups.

But the other day it threw up, It posted more codes than I have ever seen before, stupid dash was a christmas tree so now the computer needs replacement but I work 42 hrs this week and have no chance until thursday to get parts.

I'm not really mad, better the computer dies now before I get it chipped as the chip is a flash so if the ECU dies you have to buy another one.

Damn, wish I could make it but the dub's torn apart because of major eletrical issues, READ: new ECU, new Airbag Controller, new Alternator. But it's ok, its a VW they do this, lol  (oh, and i'm putting in new cams ).

this reminds me of when the Audi R8s first came out. Out of the first 100 released the first week I think something like 20 of them were totaled.

Mostly because of dumb people driving too fast in the rain (yea, it's a top notch sports car but it's doesn't have some new type of driving aparatus, it still uses tires)

but there were alot, typical VW fashion may I add, that just burst into flames. lol

d2g, you got anything cheap (under or a little over $1K) thats not a multi-lug with 5x100 pattern? Looking for a multi spoke, gun metal or silver, no chrome.

yea, they're for a VW so i know nobody cares because AFAIK i'm the only vdubber on here.
